Recover from lost connection or an unsaved form

Resume safely without duplicating an action or losing an edit.

For all roles

Where to start

  • Reconnect and use pull to refresh where offered.

What to do

  1. 01

Restore Wi-Fi or mobile data before continuing with workplace records. Records may be hidden while offline; the app is not an offline copy of your workspace.

  2. 02

If connection failed during a save, reopen the actual record or history to see whether the action completed before retrying.

  3. 03

Refresh the relevant screen where offered after reconnecting. If sign-in or secure unlock is requested, complete it through the normal account flow.

  4. 04

When leaving an edited form, read the unsaved-change prompt. Keep editing returns to the form; Discard changes removes only unsaved edits.

  5. 05

An already delivered reply, shared file or saved record remains even if later unsent details are discarded.

  6. 06

If an action remains uncertain, use platform help with the screen and visible error. Avoid repeatedly submitting an invitation, decision or payment-recording action to test the connection.

What happens next

Unsaved edits are not saved records. A network interruption does not prove an action failed.

If you need help

Workplace records may be hidden while offline. Never repeatedly submit a payment, invitation or decision to test connectivity.

Should I submit again after a slow response?

Check the saved record first to avoid duplicating an action.
