Review the audience and disclosure scope of a retained case pack, and manage retention separately.
Open the intended case and check its reference and current status before using evidence controls.
Choose Create evidence pack. Review its purpose, intended audience, selected notes and documents, guided evidence and redactions or disclosure review.
Review the retained pack in the full-screen reader. Check its creation date and export reference. Original documents remain in the secure case workspace; the pack contains their schedule rather than the original files.
If an authorised copy is needed, download it to an approved destination. The Android controlled case pack downloads as JSON, not PDF; use the in-app reader if your phone cannot open JSON.
Use Earlier evidence packs → View retained pack to inspect a previous snapshot. Later case changes do not rewrite that snapshot.
Change retention review date only after case closure. Preserve records (legal hold) and Release legal hold are separate confirmations: an active hold suspends disposal and does not start legal proceedings.
Evidence packs retain the reviewed disclosure snapshot. A retention review date is distinct from deletion, and a legal hold preserves the records.
Change retention review date is disabled for an open case. Do not close it solely to enable the control. Check selected content and audience before creating or sharing any pack.
No. The Android pack contains a document schedule and reviewed case records. Selected original files remain in the secure case workspace.
