Request leave and follow its decision

Check the balance, request time off and follow the decision.

For Employee

Where to start

  • Open More → My leave & absence.

What to do

  1. 01

Check Annual leave remaining and the leave-year dates before choosing the leave request form. Your working pattern and employer rules determine the days deducted.

  2. 02

Choose Absence type, First day and Last day. On Android, choose Full days, Morning only or Afternoon only under Length; a half-day request covers one date.

  3. 03

Add the optional reason when useful. Read the dates and absence type again before choosing Send request. Sickness uses a separate Record sickness action and follows your employer’s sickness reporting arrangements.

  4. 04

Check that the saved request appears in Upcoming & pending. Awaiting review means a decision is still needed; it is not approval.

  5. 05

Open the request to read its dated progress and any Review feedback. Check the final decision before relying on the time off being approved.

  6. 06

If you need to change plans, use the request’s available withdrawal or cancellation controls rather than submitting a duplicate request.

What happens next

Submitting sends a request for review; it does not itself approve the time off.

If you need help

A half-day request uses one date. If the balance or deducted days look wrong, ask your employer to check the leave year and working pattern. If sending is uncertain, reopen the list to check whether the request saved before trying again.

Is submitted leave already approved?

No. Wait for the decision shown on the request.
